Webcams and Colonial Williamsburg

When you think about Colonial Williamsburg you probably tend to think about a time without technology. And, when you walk around Colonial Williamsburg, you see things as they were in colonial times.  So, you probably won't notice the webcams....

Webcams are placed outside the following locations: Raleigh Tavern, Merchants Square, Capitol, Magazine, Armoury Project, and a Roving Cam.

You can view these sites at the official Colonial Williamsburg website:

This is a great way to get a look at Colonial Williamsburg before your trip (and maybe a great way for friends and family to catch a peak of you on vacation!)

Enjoy this bit of technology hidden in Colonial Times!

  1. I love this idea! We have been wanting to visit Williamsburg for a long time. My dream is to have the extended family meet up together in Williamsburg. There is something for all ages. Thanks for creating this!

  2. We vacationed in Williamsburg a couple of years ago and yes it was planned for friends to see us on the webcam. Every so often they bring up that experience. We hope to go back and do it again!
